United Nations Plaza – Manhattan, NY

DESCRIPTION:
Safety and anti-terrorist concrete barricades were constructed in front of the United Nations complex along First Avenue.

SCOPE:
This project included the construction of structural foundations for new security gates and barriers. On-grade site work was performed for future architectural granite installations. Concrete barriers and granite curbs were installed as part of a new Plaza entrance. Safety and security considerations required constant coordination with United Nations personnel.
